IMO, gas prices shouldnt keep us from doing the things we love. In my case I've cut back on a lot of other luxeries but my hunting and fishing is not gonna suffer because of high gas prices, Its what I live for and I'll do just about anything to keep doing what I love. Deerassic is a GREAT event. I look forward to it all year, I havent ever won a flippin thing in the last 3 years, but ya never know when Lady Luck will strike!!!! $114,000.00 50/50 could be all mine this year!!!!! :cool:

I think he's talking about the Deerassic Classic held in Cambridge in Aug, not the deer and turkey expo held in Columbus in Mar. I'm not sure if you may be confusing the two....If you weren't then sorry.

I heard that Patriot1, the heat was unbearable on Saturday. But just remember, you cant win that huge 50/50 drawing if you aint there. Add the fact that my dream girl Tiffany Lakosky will be there, Ohhhhhhh boy, I sure wouldnt kick her out of bed for eating crakers!!!!! :yikes:

I second that one! I am planning on going this year. I have never been to it before, but everyone I talk to says it is a blast! I sure hope Tiffany is as sexy in person as she is on tv! I better not be disappointed! Has anyone ever won anything? The prize list looks pretty awesome...I just hope the $100 is worth it!

It is definetly worth the $150.00 IMO. All the free food you can eat on Saturday, Tracy Lawrence concert on Friday night, Ruff Creek and fireworks on Saturday night, all the beer you can haul in, chance at some kick a$$ prizes, meeting the Lakosky's, Mike Waddell, Stan Potts, Greg Miller, hot chick everywhere, hanging with friends, sweating your nutz off, great friendly crowd, seeing a drunk Amish guy dirty dance on stage with 2 chicks and getting your pic taken with him afterward, PRICELESS!!!!!!!:coolgleamA:

I heard that Coonie, yea it sucks we gotta pay more for gas, but just go and complain about the gas prices like every one else, thats the American way!!! Heck, find other ways to save gas, dont let high prices keep you home!!!!


Aside from gas prices, Deerassic is a great weekend to be around like minded hunters, fisherman, and general outdoor kind of people. I've had a blast every time I've went and look forward to it more and more every year. If you guys dont know the skinny on Deerassic, take a sec to check their website out.

I just bought my ticket on Monday! This will be my 1st year going! I hear it's a blast...and I can't wait! Has anyone ever won any of the prizes? I've came close last year to winning a camper. My number was 9409 and they drew 9408!!!! Darn, soooooo close yet soooooo far!!!!:mad:

Once it gets closer, we will have to all meet up. I camp every year, but this year we are setting up camp on Thursday Night and not breaking it till Sunday Morning. Camping is primitave, no electric, no water, no nothing but a spot so come prepared espesialy if your draging along an old lady who needs all the comforts of home to camp.....:coco:

my buddy has a camp about 20 minutes away...so we will be staying there! I'm still planning on spending the day Saturday, and hangin out for that concert in the evening! We will definetly all have to meet up out there at some point in time!

Teambringit, there is people who camp in tour bus size, $75,000.00 campers. You should have plenty of room for a pop up!!!

I'm sure deerasic is a good show...I'll have to mark it on the calendar for next year and check it out. How were the bands? Did you meet anyone from this site down there?

Sycamore...I was looking for ya, but there were so many people! I had a blast. We left about 9 oclock. Cowboy Crush was a good...and hot girl band. I think I fell in love with Tiffany Lakosky! She was drop dead gorgeous...even better than I expected! This was my 1st time going, but I will definetly be going every year from now on! I didn't win anything, but the guy a few rows in front of me won a Browning shot gun and an 08 Dodge Ram! You gotta check it out next year!
