I'm just curious... do you guys ever get runs of salmon down in Ohio? I've never heard of anyone catching salmon in Erie before. If so, is it a few anglers who go after them when they come in the rivers or massive crowds like there is in Michigan.

I would guess that you have some but it is not common to catch one...

They used to stock them a few years back but they concentrate on the steelies now. Better return rates.

There are a few salmon caught each year and those are mostly caught on accident by guys chasing steelhead.You may find a few of us actually targeting the kings that do stray to our waterways but we are few and far between.
