They should be dropping anytime now. Good places to look are bedding areas and trail leading to and from bedding areas, along with food sources. Pretty much, they could be anywhere. Checking along fence lines(if it is a travel route) is a good place to look as they may bump their loose rack on the fence causing it to fall there.

I myself haven't found any this year, but others on here have. I was at the OBA meeting a few weekends ago and overheard a guy there who had quite a large collection on display mention that he had already found 11 this year.

Good luck!

ive found ten this year so far. search food. bean fields mainly .corn to but just along the edges because everything in corn looks like a shed. good luck and dont give up, when you find one look for others in general vicinity.

sorry man but i don't agree with you! You need to search the entire field if you wanna find more sheds even if everything looks like a shed get a pair of binos and get out there and search the fields. i have found 3 out in the corn stubble this year by the way the one was a 78" non typical side. a whitetail can loose his rack anywhere so you gotta search everywhere you can

Yeley is right. They can lose their racks anywhere and I would say there are just as many if not more in the corn stubble. Shed hunting to me is slow but decently productive, but hunting in corn is way to slow and my eyes aren't good enough for that. I'm up to 20 sheds this year. Ive found a 65" 5 point thats g4 is only an inch. A 72" 5 point, and a 75" 6 point nontypical and I cant find the match to any of them. Three different tanks, three different farms. The nontypical match I search for nearly everyday. Im going to wait about two more weeks and search the nearby corn field row by row, and even if I don't find the match, I should find some others. Ill keep you posted and maybe learn how to put up pics.

You just have to look where they drop them. It is as easy as that. I have never found one in the living room. Although the ole' lady would like me too look longer there.

This year has been better than last for finding them in the fields - last year we had too much snow on the ground during drop time - and they seemed to be hitting browse more - thus, last year I found the majority of mine in the woods - this year it has been fields. Finding them in the fields is a lot easier.
