Last Day Deer?

Anyone kill a deer on the last day? I saw deer all day and had a doe just out of range. Show/tell us what you got!!!

I had 9 different deer inside 50 yards Saturday afternoon and couldn't get a clean shot, never even got to draw the bow. Then Sunday afternoon I had deer skirt me out of range. It was a great weekend considering it was the last weekend, but it just didn't happen for me. Oh well, that's why I love it!

:) This last week has been great. I saw between 18-56 deer each day I was out.Shot one doe tuesday and one on sunday,both at 20 yards.Saw 4 bucks.One half rack and 3 full racks but all were young deer.Great season,sorry no pics.

Since last Wednesday, I hunted the edge of a winter wheat field. The first two nights, I got within about 50-60 yards of a 150+ buck. Just to far of a shot for me to feel comfortable. Fri, Sat, and Sun, I played musical chairs trying to set up on where they enter the field. They won that game, but a good 130ish 8 pointer came out each night. I just couldnt get close enough to him. Still, for the last week of the season, seeing a shooter each night was pretty exciting. I hate that its all over now though.

We saw a 200" pile of squat!!!!!!!! Man it died off real bad for us the last couple of weeks. Was out Saturday morning for the final hunt and only had 1 fox come in and our usual mink. Saw the minks 4 times this year and actually filmed the one killing a squirrel and dragging it away.

Seen bunch of sign last couple days including fresh deer tracks in my boot prints :) But didn't get it done. Got the one sat.

I did not hunt Sunday, but did put another doe on the ground Saturday morning. I actually filmed it with a small bullet-type camera.

This was my second doe and one anterless (broken off at the hairline) for a total of 3! Good eats for the year!
