i would like to give a big CONGRATS to everyone who connected this season and to everyone who didn't.IMO,it has been a tough season,with the weather,the on and off rut,and some of the problems that has been encountered during the season,but i would like to say i enjoyed it very much. i enjoyed the photos,the storys,and the smack talk.looking forward to the upcoming season.

A big congrats to Team #7 - Rack Attack with GoneWild, wallydog1, johnc21, oxmos for a big come from behind win! You guys along with a couple of other teams, basically kicked the rest of our asses!

Congrats to everyond that laid down some brown this year. It was a tough one for sure. Time to get the ball rolling for another season of self-abuse!

This contest was a lot of fun. I think it was really great for the site. I think everybody made a few new friends. As far as the come from behind win, I gave up on the idea of killing a buck after gun season. I decided to hunt the weekend after gun season to see if I couldn't get a crack at another doe. The farm I hunt didn't get gun hunted this year so I knew the deer wouldn't be spooked. The conditions were great that day,cool and the ground was covered with snow. At first light a doe and a fawn came down a path leading straight to my tree. It was a chip shot and an easy tracking job(broke my arrow:irked: ). I talked it over with the team and decided to sandbag until the end of the contest. I really expected more sandbagging, I guess the members here are just too honest! I knew there wouldn't be many entries after gun season. Late season bow hunting can be physically and mentally draining. Hunting those cold temps and very little deer activity really makes it tough to set in the stand. I just hope the moderators let team rack attack defend the title for next year!
