Anyone that ever wants to come down to SE Ohio for a good ride and doesn't want to pay to ride, just look me up. I can hook you up with a place to camp and some great places to ride. The only stipulation is I have to be able to go. We know how to do it down here....

(Shed Head: I think we took out a few flags. Sorry buddy!)

We got plenty of people to join you on a ride...

We got plenty of places to stop for a cold pop...

http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q273/bowhunter1023/100_1250.jpg

And plenty of mud for your enjoyment...

Not enough! Once the warmer weather gets here, you can count on rides like this one about once a month and a scaled down version (4-8 bikes instead of 16) about twice a month. Between me and my buddies, we know a ton of trails in the area. We can give you a better ride than you get at WNF in my opinion. More mud, more challenging terrain, and more beer stops! LOL

We'll have to get together sometime once it gets a little warmer! Your always welcome to come up here too, we usually ride a couple times a month in the spring, I dont think our place is as good as yours the way it sounds lol but we always have a good time!

We can definitely work out a ride-for-ride swap. I got a couple of buddies that ain't afraid to travel to ride. The nice thing about down here is that we ride in areas of "big land". There are a ton of big tracts of land left and no one stops you from riding because most of the trails follow the creek which is generally the property line. Some of the trails have been cut off of the years. But there are some great places. We ride into a cave in one spot. And our favorite beer stop is on the ridge by an old cabin. (Probably 100+ years old.) There is some serious deer habitat in this area too. You never know what you will see...

Sounds good! We'll have to get things planned here in a few weeks when its a little closer to the time!!!

Yea - we have the same yahoos riding up the creek bottom at our place in monroe... Think that since there is a path they can go ahead and ride. can't wait to see the suprised look on their face when they get nailed for tresspassing...

I was in the treestand on Saturday freezing my butt of - and some jockstraps were riding up and down the creek bottom - If I could have moved fast enough i would have let them know how much I enjoyed them ruining my hunt.

That sucks Monroe. I know not everyone rolls like our group, but we don't go where it is posted and some of the areas have been in the last few years. We generally have someone in the group that knows all, or most of the landowners we cover and they have permission to be there along with a group. Things are pretty well respected in our area. Those trails have been "public" forever. Only one place I can think of has installed gates.

Understand these public trails - really no way to stop them from riding on them in our neck of the woods - the only thing that sucks is that this is some great habitat - but I would never chance hunting right along the creek bottom because someone would definatley spoil the hunt.

we are not sure what to do - if we fence it - they will surely smash it. the rest of the neighbors want to put an end to it as well - or so they say. I think one person caught would put a stop - but thats hard to do.

Have fun and don't pizz off the neighbors...

Hell yeah he made it! Those Rhinos are rediculous. I have got to get one...

This is the hill we call the Widow Maker. I was calling turks on the ridge above it last year and they were across the bottom and up the other side. Over there, it looks like Kansas and I couldn't get them to cross the bottom so I decided to go after them. I busted my ass and slid most of the way down this hill. It sucked! And there weren't any turkeys left when I finally got the feeling back in my arm...:(

Well this sounds like a great time in the planning, heck alway slooking for some good ground to ride on, have some here, and there around these parts. And I have really been looking for a good set of trails to test out the new Rhino sitting in the garage. Kinda really interested in just what it'll do. If something starts getting planned let me knkow I am definately interested, and have no problem working something out in return.

THE BEST place to ride in Ohio, period. As you all say "The Wayne" has nothing on Elba.

What and where is Elba?? Never heard of it. Is it a pay to ride park of some sort?

Wayne isn't a bad place to ride if you know the trails, but it can get very crowded any more.

No need to pm. If you would like to ride, contact bowhunter or I, and we can set up a pretty good ride for ya. Just need to know what weekends you have available...

Hey is this part of a club, because my friend is part of a club and they have free ride day/weekend that is open to the public (rumble on the Ridge(s))?
