Sounds good to me... what about the proposal of making bowseason next year go til March? I read in the dispatch that it was being voted on, also they passed the bill moving gun week opener to the Saturday following Thanksgiving in 09 and will stay that way until changed again. Dont mean to hijack but just wanted to hear thoughts on these changes as well...

I like the idea of the longer fall turkey season. Plus I hope the add my county, Mahoning.

I have mixed feelings about changing opening day to the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I see a travel problem for those that live very far away from where they hunt. Most will only have Friday to travel, set up camp, set up stands, scout etc. This won't affect me but I understand the problem it'll cause some others. A more personnal problem for me will be the second day of gun season will be Sunday, I don't care if you hunt on Sundays but I don't do it much. I'll have a hard time paying attention to the preacher knowing it is the second day of season:)
