I was in the Honda shop today getting some add-ons for my bike and I thought it would be cool to see who has what around here. I just ordered high performance filters, HMF Utility Series Slip-On, and HMF Optimizer for my 2007 Rancher 420. I started looking at a 2005 400EX with Maxxis Razor 2's, nerf bars, and Procircuit T4 pipe. I may be able to add it to the list before too long. If not, I want to get a Suzuki Z400 late this year or this time next year. Just gotta find the $ and get it by the old lady!
This is my baby. I call her Big Bird...
Right after I added the ITP bigfoot kit with Mudlite AT's...

My 2001 400ex had that exact same set up. The Razor 2's are the ticket. They really hook up.
I have a 2006 Honda Rincon. Even with all your little hop ups for your Rancher, my stock Rincon will still beat it. Ha. :cheeky-smiley-022:

I have a 680 rincon and its the last Honda I'll ever buy. I bought it to use on the farm and it hasnt held up to say the least. The only thing worse than the machine is Honda's warranty work.:irked: Anybody in the Defiance area want to know where not to take your 4-wheeler, p.m. me, I'll be happy to tell you.

I have a older honda ranger the rear wheel verson the ol' red bike has treated me well. Then I have a newer 02' or so honda rancher. I'll tell you in all honestly the ol' ranger is the better quad. When my friend's polaris gets stuck and has to whench it out because of the weight I can either pull it out or rock it free. There isn't any reason for me to have big quad around here anyway if I need something more powerful I'll get the silverado or my 440 long tractor.

I have good luck with this Honda (however, I don't use it for work much), unlike the Kawasaki that I had last. That was a piece of crap and the crappy dealer in Maumee wasn't helping. I used to live in Henry county. Are you taking it to the dealer on the north side of Defiance or Ottawa?

The north side dealer. We use our quad to broadcast clover and alfalfa, spray round-up etc.. nothing overly demanding. He tried to make it sound like we must have been beating the sh/; out of it. When I need work done I dont need a hassle I just need it fixed.

Just picked up an '07' Yamaha Rhino 660 4x4. It's a nice scoot if I dont say so myself. I will get some pics of it and try to get them loaded up. Finally came to the relization that my body might like me better if I quit dragging or carrying really heavy things far distances throught the woods. Hehe

My grandpa picked one of those up last march, his is an 07 450, I belive I use it way more than he does, it is excellent, just thro your gear in the back(treestands or anything) and go, it does an excellent job on plots also, it pulls the front section of a 7' disk like a champ, He even took it to Hatfield McCoy with us this past year...

Glad to hear, always worry when you spend money if it's gonna work out for ya. It's nice to hear that it works good. I am still breaking this one in, 20 hours of put-put then you can actually push the gas pedal. It seems to be doing great so far. Speaking of which I need to get that pic, I'll have to post in the gallery though. I'll let everyone know. Take care.... I got it posted in the other section in the gallery if you want to take a look.

I dont think luck has much to do with it. I just think the dealer here in town does a piss poor job of handling warranty work. Then again I'm demanding, when I pay good money I expect good follow-up service. Dont kiss my @ss when your selling just to leave me high and dry when I need you. The solution is simple. I wont buy Honda and I will never recommend them either. All that ad money to sell me and then some moron dealer loses me as a customer for life over a 150.00 part. Thats smart thinking.

I just picked an 01 Honda Rubicon 500 4x4 with the Hondamatic a few days ago. LOVE IT! I've been having a blast out in the woods behind my house in the fresh snow. I'll need new tires soon, but other than that it needs nothing. I came with a 46" snow blade with a custom mount, the blade is actually a John Deer meant for the 100 series lawn tractors...works great on the Rubicon, though. I don't need it as I have a snowblower, so I may get rid of that soon.

Tried to get photos in the gallery and then to the post. Guess I am too dumb to figure it out. I posted a pic of me climbing a hill on my KTM and another playing on some of my firewood pile with my GasGas trials bike. If I am off-roading it is on 2 wheels. Otherwise I use a 2006 Rancher 400 with plow and fertilizer equipment. Also use a 2003 or 2004 (can't remember) Yamaha 450 Kodiak with plow. They are just work horses that I occasionally use to give the kids a ride around the woods on.
