I'll be a single digit midgit in a few more days.

Hard to believe that over a year has passed.

I don't know if the Ohio turkey hunt is gonna work out. It may still happen, but we'll have to see.

Well, we can't wait to welcome you back Seaman!

hehehe, been there and done it man, was years ago but they can have that god foresaken place over there in Southeast asia.

7th Corp man here, 1990-1991 in country... seen turds of countries called Saudia Arabia, Iraq and Kuwait (although Kuwait was the "gem" I must admit that it is beautiful place)

You're getting up there in years aren't you Thunder? I know I would have had my 20 years in this year if I would have stayed...how long you short-timing for on the "big calendar" until you retire?

I might have stayed in, but I got "snookered" into the "King of Battle"....I went in with the knowledge that I was gonna be in "nukes", what I didn't know was that it was gonna be in 155mm Artillery....Oh that was freakin' great...who woulda ever thunk that those dudes were nuke capable? Needless to say I bailed and went to college after the little event called a "war" passed!

Just think, in the 1st war, most of you lilly butts were sleeping in your beds sucking your thumbs while Oldhat here was in charge/on a team of fellas that could nuke someone...hehhe, makes you sleep better at night don't it...you know knowing someone like me coulda' sent a nuke down range!

I'm over 21 years now. After 13 months here I'm ready to retire now, but I have to stay at least 25 so I can get my 10 years commissioned service time. By then I'll be a major and will probably stay longer. We'll see what happens. If I have my degree done (I'm a limited duty officer and went from warrant to captain) by then I'll probably bail and get a job doing aquisitions for new air launched weaponry.

BTW

8 days to go!!!!

PS: My nukes were alot bigger than yours....:bouncy:

Good news Thunder. Take care and don't volunteer for anything until you get back to the states.
