Anyone fishing the river?

I was just wondering if anyone has been fishing the river lately and what you have been catching? I would like to catch some saugeye soon.

Water should be about right, sauger fishing is only gonna get better for sure. I wanted to post a thread but you beat me to it! So I too want to know if there are any reports on water level, temps, fishing. Thanks in advance

been fishing a couple times a week at the creek mouth's. picking up some white bass and an occasional walleye, shad are thick right now. no saugher yet!

I went over the river about a week ago from Belpre to Parkersburg, and it looked like chocolate milk. It is time to hammer the sauger, and I am chomping at the bit to get out there, but I'm not going to give it a shot until there is at least a foot of visibility.

saugher time hmm, yea thats what i here. tried it last weekend and it was actually too high and swift didnt git a bite. fixin to go this weekend.

Caught 20 sum mixed eyes and white bass nite before last. Kept six 4 the skillet 14-18 inches. Lost a couple nice ones. :irked: Jig minnow rig, off shore up 1/4 from creek mouth at a launching ramp. Fish up everywhere, river is unfishable for now. But if weather clears off for a day or two you can catch numbers. Rain we had here yesterday raised the creek up a couple of feet. Soon as it goes down, betch yer bottom Ill be back down there with a couple of minnies. :whistle:
