For about a year now I have been 'flating" my 22's and 22 mags a bit to give them more punch and direct killing power! Find a 22 and 22 mag revolver cylinder at a gunshow or shop and have the barrel end milled down to about 0.940 for 22 long rifles and 1.300
for 22 mags (OVERAL LENTH). Then fill up cylinder with rimfires and flip over on newspaper on flat table. Take mill file a file till level with top of cylinder. Next take Scotch-Brite scour pad (3M) and smooth out point still in cylinder. Pop out shells and clean off any lead . They will shoot great and just smack the p$##@^^!!!#$ out of game. I used all lead and jackeded hollowpoints with great results. Try it !!! I also just tried filling some CCI "TNT" 17 HRM. I didn't shoot them yet put they look really "MEAN"
