I would like to see a list of bowhunting products that you think are the best. Quality items that actually do what they say they will do and do it well!

I will start with a few.

Lone Wolf, climbing tree stands.

Hoyt bows.

Block archery targets.

Thunderhead broadheads.

Snuffer broadheads.

Lacrosse, Alpha Burley boots.

summit ...baker ,tss ,buckmaster, tree stands:D ...but i buy clearenced ones, theyre just as good...

any brand recurve bow or any bow...

"no scent" soaps to a degree

bear razorheads old and new, zwicky eskimo and delta...ma 3,hi precision, thunderhead etc...most work very good if sharp and tuned

most anything works but usually not as well as advertising proclaims...:D

i've wore lots of good boots...i buy the ones thats the best deal...brands are equal and made in china...:D same for clothes...or camo patterns...who cares the pattern, dont move, itll work even hunter orange:D they all have worked just fine...theyre never as warm as they say...toe heaters are the best thing out there for keepin ft warm...

my gps works fine as long as the batteries dont go dead...i've only had one a garman and it did its stuff...batteries...bout even with copper top and the energizer bunny...lowest price dictates the one i buy...:D oh man...i prefer a truck over an suv...:)

#1 on my list might be the ThermaCell mosquito repellant system. Anyone who hunts early season in wet areas knows what I am talking about. That thing is worth its weight in gold.

I'll add another new one to the list: the Lumenock. I do a lot of filming of hunts, and without a Lumenock it is almost impossible to see good impacts on video. I also use them on regular hunts to help me see impacts and find arrows if I shoot at dusk.

I can't believe this thread has gone this far without somebody mentioning the single most important innovation in bowhunting since the arrow. And that is of course, the "deer view mirror"!!! I like to set them out in a series, kind of like a periscope, so I can see what's over the next hill and around the corner at the same time.

On a serious note, and I'm not sure that this applies only to bowhunting, (but I wouldn't use one during gun season), a buck decoy with over sized antlers is the most effective tool I've stumbled into for harvesting mature bucks.

Only thing that I can add is a Martin Bow, sure others shoot better, but they have never failed me in any means other than my own fault (missing) while hunting. I like to think of them as a "hunters bow".

I was a Rocky Boot fan for years, that is until I bought these Irish Setters this year....happy so far, time will tell.

Deer-view mirrors are the bomb:D

Without question, undeniably the Scent Smoker.

My back pack...a cheapy one from Meijers, but it has ample pockets, and plenty of straps that I can affix my bow or extra clothing too on a pack out or in.

My safety harness, not only for it's intended purpose, but I also use it to drag deer out.

My Lacrosse 1200 gram rubber boots! They are simply awesome, I'm on my second year with them, and I will probably get another year out of them.

My Gander Mountain branded camo I bought this year. So comfortable, warm, and the TecH20 on them has stood up to several rains this year.

My Fred Bear Element. Gosh, I love that bow!

Oh boy lets see......so many to choose from where do I begin.

Well I would have to say my:
LaCrosse 1500gram Alpha Burlys
Rage 2-blade

I just got into using Big Dog Bull Dog lock on tree stands this year I think they are simply unbeatable for the price.

The Mathews folks have clamped down on the freebee's and would only allow me to buy one at cost for my son this year. Which was still $150 more than the Martin Bengal I wound up buying him. Hands down the smoothest, quietest bow I've ever held in my hands. If I was in the market for a new bow, I would buy a Martin.

I forgot to mention the best rest I have ever owned after shooting a NAP Quiktune and a WB, the QAD Ultra-Rest Pro Hunter is the best fall-away on the market in my opinion. I owe alot of my accuracy to that rest.

Crooked horn outfitters bino harness, I love the thing. I also have a retractable tow rope that is really handy. Seat of the pants safety harness, doubles as a linesman belt when hanging stands. I also love the butt out tool! I wear it on a lanyard around my neck. It really makes the trespassers run for the fence!

God, you have got it bad!
3 compound bows in my life. Still today, I could pick up that "early 80's" Martin Warthog and go kill a deer with it as I used to. Believe it or not, that bow ran circles around the jennings and bears of the late 70's/early 80's....I guess if I shot an arrow through it now it would look like I was shooting a shot-put down range, would be awfully heavy also it had to be 10lbs or so.

You've purchased more bows since 2000 than I will have ever purchased in my life...and I'm only 37yrs. old...what's your draw length?...look me up in 4 more years when I need a new one, as I am sure you'll have a "just like new one" that I could get for a good price.
