I would love to hear the reasoning behind the four people that answered no to this. What more do you want?

Another year gone by since this was brought up and again I say YES !!
Seems no matter where you go,public or private, the state has done quite well in their deer management practices.

I am very pleased. Especially after yesterday. There is always room for improvement though. I think if there was a way to get the buck to doe ratio a little better it would just make the great hunting we have even better.

The only thing I would like for the ODNR to do is raise the prices of NR tags and licenses. We have some of the best deer hunting in he country and we are getting flooded by out of staters. I'm not against out of staters but I think they should hafta pay alot more to hunt here than a resident should. Make their buck tag $200 but keep doe tags the same price....And make it earn a buck....Too many NR are coming to our state and only horn hunting...They need to do their part to control the doe population also. I'd be all for a unlimited tag lottery for NR tags before the season also. That way folks would have to plan on hunting here.

A year later and I say no. There is an old saying that goes, "if it aint broke don't fix it." Now, I am all for being proactive rather than reactive, but I believe the DOW has over-reacted and given in to the Farm Bureau and their pressure.
A state-wide bag limit of 7 deer per man is absurd!
The sky is not falling, but I am no longer optimistic about my deer hunting prospects in this state. In fact, in Delaware county...........it flat out stinks!
