GFO changed something a month or so ago ... I don't think any old book marks work ... Just change your bookmark and you will get there

Let me straighten something out, I am not trying to keep folks from visiting these other sites. A person named Steelhauler on another site posted that I (not mentioning my name) was trying to dissuade members from visiting those sites mentioned above. I could care less if members here visit those sites and I did not bad mouth them in any way, but I do support this site and this site only. This site has what I need as far as info on Ohio's outdoors and for the total Ohio Sportman not just walleye or fishing in general. So I choose to make it my homepage, but I still visit other sites like everyone else.
Most other sites have a click, if you disagree with what most of them think then your a bad guy. Here we may have different points of view, but we don't pit folks against other sportsmen whether they use a gun or a bow, or a spinning rod or a fly rod. I'm for a guy (Steve) who is trying to make this place a better place not only for hunter's and fishermen but for all Ohio Sportsmen in general. You may not see it right now but I believe within a few years this site (Ohio Sportsman) will be the ultimate in info on all the outdoor sports in our great state Ohio. This state and the members of this site owe a man who is from another state a great deal of gratitude for trying to bring Ohio Outdoor sports to the forefront. I thank you Steve for what your trying to accomplish and I'm behind you all the way.

i think he read a little too much into your first post.i try to read between the lines and i did notice the emoticons.
however, your statement about "most other sites" having "clicks".kinda bothered me because i see the same thing on this site.that is not a putdown to steve and/or the site,as i think he's done a good job here, and has a nice site.but "clicks" are everywhere,in the world of discussion forums(sometimes good, sometimes not),and that doesn't make any site bad.i have seen the same sorts of things you mentioned, happen right here.there may be some sites where "anything goes",but the quality ones, including this one, will not and do not tolerate certain things for long.
my homepage is GFO,but i visit this site on a daily basis, and hope it grows and prospers.

Thats flat out not true. And why do you mention his name when he had the forthought to not mention yours.
I was a very early member of this site...i still come here but not nearly as often anymore...and i think its posts like this that are making this site die slowly.

I certainly am hoping you are right on this one.
Steve, keep it up.
