According to the rules of our contest, your photo entry must display a valid and visible 2007/2008 Ohio deer tag, either temporary or permanant.

We noticed a couple photos where no tag of any kind is visible or present. Submitters of these photos will be provided a "grace" to correct this issue.

Please Please have that tag visible in the photos you enter !!

What about landowner tags...just as long as it is shown we should be ok??

go ahead and cancel my photo then, because the first thing i did was take pictures of my deer in the exact spot it fell. I then tagged and gutted it. I guess I should have read the rules better. I was just so excited that I wasn't even thinking about that.

Sorry team 5. Its alright though I'm sure we will get some more!!

Trap,

I'm sure there is a way you can fix it. Do you have the metal tag? What about the top portion of your tag? Tag Number? I don't think anybody is going to cheat to win this. This contest is for fun and it shows in your picture! That's what it is all about.

I noticed the missing tags as well, thought it was kinda funny since it was spelled out completly in the details of the contest... but I wasn't about to let anyone in charge know...

I can however understand how easy it would be to leave the tag out... the first pics of my doe I took right after I shot her had no pic of a tag or my bow... so I had to take a couple more after I got her home...

As john said I don't think it's anyones intent to cheat, but the rules were set forth at the beginning...


Trap. just post a pic of your tag, or just post the tag number, don't sweat it man....

That would satisfy me and I'm reasonably sure everyone else. After all it's just for fun. However, we should show our honesty and ethics by posting pictures with tags. I don't believe for one minute anyone is trying to cheat in any way but that takes all question out of it, just mho.

Take a pic of your tag. Then post it. Problem solved. No way should anyone have to lose points in the contest. I think this is just a reminder to take pics with the tags on.

Google "buckbacks" and see what comes up. It's all OS people.....and somebody else not from here who has a problem tagging his deer.

Tag those deer and post those pics!!!

This is a contest for fun. I can see how easy it would be to forget and leave out a tag. I also think a pic of the tag is sufficient. Trap, nice doe by the way.

sorry for forgetting about that fellas, and thanks for the understanding. I posted a picture of my torn temporary tag under my team thread. ( team # 5 )

I will post a pic of the permenant tag just as soon as I get my deer back from the processors.

Kaleb sent me a picture of his deer. He blew the picture up and you could see the tag then. It was there all along, just couldn't see it.
