Isn't that funky?......the last 2 pictures are almost identical in posture as he walks, yet they were taken 2 hours apart. Weird.

I know. I thought there was a gliche for second. But you can see an eyeball in the first.

This deer would be a monster next year. But he is living in a corn field that is heavily hunted in gun season. I think he is comfortable on our 80 acres because I've not pressured him. But I can't afford to let a deer like that walk around here. I don't have enough control over my area to make sure he lives to next year. And I can't live with that for a year.

It will be him or nothing this year. The only way I shoot another deer, is if I see the local legend himself. I know its tough to hunt one deer, but I'm game for the challenge.

I can totally relate to not being able to let the (If I could let him go for another year deer). I have a nice 8 and a decnt 10 that have posed in front of my cams. I want the 8 but if the 10 shows up it would be HARD not to pull the trigger on him.

Are you sure that's the same buck? The one in velvet has some real unique brow tines, the second deer seems to have normal tines. Maybe it's just that junky cudde back fooling me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
