Other than you traditional guys, does anyone here not use a peep? I switched to an Anchor Sight last year after aquiring a severe case of target panic. I actually like the more open view that I now have of my pins, and have actually tightened up my groups since I am not punching the trigger on my release.

No peep here, I shoot with both eyes open. I shoot with both eyes open because I am a bad shot....helps me better see where my arrow sticks in the ground at.

LOL, I can't target shoot for $#@t either, but I can generally put it together come crunch time. This Anchor Sight gizmo allows me to shoot with both eyes open also.

Absolutely hate peeps. They get out of alignment, obscure your vision, weigh down your string. Ever have the tubing break at the string and smack you in the face? Way too many things have went wrong. Switched a few years back to a Hindsight Extreme. Better vision and nothing to go wrong. Plus, it will indicate if you are gripping the bow differently. I'll never go back.

One thing I have learned is not to use a peep with the tubing. Too many things can go wrong at the wrong time. I have had those things break on me in the treestand and even though I can usually fix it, I think it messes with my concentration. Plus, it takes some speed away with the added weight. On the other hand I can't imagine not using a peep.

i thought about going peepless but decided not to i put in a g5 meta peep they weight only 5 grains. as far as peep rotaion if you get a quality string and set it up correctly the peep will never move from where you set it!!!!!!!

I agree a quality peep like the G5 Meta Series matched with a quality aftermarket string you should never have any issues with peep rotation, If you are its likely the factory string on the bow is the culprit, IMO...The best money you will ever spend on a bow is a High quality aftermarket string and cables.

Having said that, I Do not use a peep either, There are several variations out there the No Peep, Anchorsite, and HS Extreme.

I happen to use the No Peep system, properly setup, there very nice and easy to use, and train you and help with Muscle memory, Grip Torque and something less to go wrong at the moment of truth. accuracy is not an issue either and many notice tighter groups using them.

I'm not sure how it would help with target panic though, thats something some just need to work through often a back tension release will help overcome that or dropping the poundage of the bow to more easilly hold on target and not tire as quickly and find yourself punching shots.

The peepless idea is just a back referance point to sight from alligning from the rear no peep or a Strings Peep to the bow site itself, 2 points of referance. the real benefit thats noticeable with the peepless system is the torque correction it provides as well as clear pin view.

I think both are very good, Its personal choice more than anything...

OBH, I didn't go to the Anchor Sight as a cure for target panic. I got it because I couldn't see my sights in a ground blind, through the peep. I think I read in one of the other no peep products something about helping with target panic. I checked out most of the other products, but when I called Anchor Sight, and Lynn the owner, answered the phone and we talked awhile, I just ordered one on the spot. I installed the Anchor Sight, and after a few days of shooting it, realized that I hadn't punched my trigger since I put it on. I think what caused part of my problem was that I shoot quite a bit of shotgun sports, and do it with two eyes. When using a peep, I had to close one eye, which must have contributed to my flinching, which is what target panic is I guess. I still am missing some arrows from punching my trigger. LOL Things are good now, and you are right, it improved my groups also.

Funny :D, I went to the hind sight this year because of my eye sight not being what it used to. And i gotta say i am shooting better groups and i like being able to see more of my target

G5 Meta Series and a nice 452x custom string will solve that. And yes I have been smacked by the tubing. That's why I quit using that type of peep.
