I have not, but I have held them in my hand and pulled them back at the D&T Expo. Nice looking bows. I'm not as up on trad bows as most around here.

yes, I've shot a couple of them, and Rick Ellis makes a very nice bow. he makes OSTA's "Membership Bow" for us every year. we give that away in a drawing at our banquet. name goes in hat when you pay dues, and each time you register at a shoot. so, TF, if you're dues are paid up, you could win a Striker bow just for joining OSTA. if you get drawn, I'll hold on to it for you until you get up to J-town to pick it up. :D

I didn't say I was gonna buy one, yet, I saw their add in TBM and was just curious. It's gonna be a while before I get another bow. The two I have now are more than I so I'm good. :bouncy:
Is it just me or are half the bowyers out there from Ohio?;)

I just bought a 56" slapstick from a guy on stickbow for a couple hundred bucks. My traditional experience is somewhat limited (I've only shoot old Bear recurves, and a MAII BW), but it seems to be a great little bow that shoots far better than I do.
Money well spent IMHO! zero handshock and no finger pinch which is impressive for a 56" bow.

Hey tf shot the 2002 OSta striker bow till this hunting season got a new Assenhimer I am hunting with but will shoot the Striker for a long time too. rick makes a great bow Matter of fact Sparky that won last years bow paid him extra to custom build the grip to his Fat Hand. Really nice work too.

I picked up a almost new Striker Stinger. It is 56" and 49#@28. It is a great little bow, I would put the speed right up there with my Saluki.
Rick makes a great bow, look into them.

I had Rick Ellis build me one of his original longbows back in 2002 and it is a great bow and Rick is a supper guy, he will go the extra mile to make sure you get just what you want.:bouncy:

Rick Ellis built me one of his longbows a long time ago, it was a christmas gift from my now ex wife. It's smooth, draws nice and SUPER PRETTY! Very accurate. It was very easy to get proficient at 15 yards. Now that next 5-10 yards I'm going to have to work on :D

I've got a Stryker Extreme. It was awesome in Texas hunting hogs. Easy to shoot while sitting on the ground or in a blind. And wicked fast!
Rick is a first class man with a great product. Hard to go wrong there. But I'm partial to his longbows. For a recurve, it's hard to beat an Assenheimer...
