It sounds like we need to whip you boys into shape! :bash: :dizzy:
I bow hunt ground that borders Harrison and Tusc. counties. I have acces to about 500 acres of a 620 acre parcel but mainly focus on about 180 of it. There are 4 of us that really bow hunt it, The number bumps to about 12-13 during gun season.

I use PSE fireflight 33 i got as a gift a few years ago. I use the rocky mountain snyper broadheads and just love'em. I hunt mostly northwest Ohio but am trying to find a cabin or cottage,etc.. to rent in the warsaw ohio area for my cousins & I the week of Oct 21 thru 27th. All the cabins, cottages, bed&breakfeast in the area i could find on the internet were way out of our price range and way to fancy for us anyways. any info or leadswould be greatly appreciated on cabin/cottage/trailer rental in the warsaw ohio area.

Scouter,
WOW man you've got a nice stretch of time to be off hunting! I wish I could get even a portion of that. I'll probably have 4-5 days to hunt over the first two weeks of November. There's a couple big boys working the property and I've seen tracks within 50 yards of the one stand I hung so we shall see. Last year I saw more bucks than does hunting that area all season long.
Leopould17,
I'll do a little checking. I can't promise anything but seem to have a real knack at internet research.

That's awesome! Is she using a cross bow? My 9 yr old wants to go out and sit with me one weekend this fall. She's really putting it to me to get a deer, she LOVES her venison steaks! lol :)
I'll be starting to chase deer pretty quick now. I took my dogs up to MI to grouse hunt last weekend, had a great time. They're 10 and don't have too many trips up left in them so they got the special attention this month.

Congrats on the doe! Waiting for the pic. :)
I was a close but no cigar on Sat. Had a doe withing 15 yards but couldn't get a clear shot. When I hung the stand in pre-season I was in a hurry and didn't notice the one limb up by my stand. Once the doe left I cut it down with my buck knife since it was a nice soft tulip poplar. She actually walked through one of my shooting lanes if it hadn't been for that limb.
Saw zip in the evening till it got dark, then one came up while I was packing up my climbing sticks......
I'm hunting most of Wednesday so we'll see what happens!

I got out today and the woods were ALIVE. Saw 11 deer today, 6 bucks 4 doe and one that was flying down the hill that spooked that I have no clue on!
I missed a doe at 9:30. She was downhill just beyond a tree that I had marked at 20 yards but the steepness of the hill was decieving and shot just under her shaving off a little bit of white belly hair, no blood though and the blades never his skin or they would have opened.
Finally at 3 PM another pair of does came in and this time I got it right. The one spooked and ran about 10 yards which happened to put her right into the shootlane I wanted her in. Now for a buck!

I'm going to get out the next two Saturdays, maybe I can stumble my way into a mature buck. None of the guys that hunt the property have been seeing ANY of the bigger deer that we'd been seeing signs of coming into the season, which is really odd since they usually see some nice bucks even if they don't get a shot on them. They saw one about 140" two weeks ago and that's it. I think they're around still, I just don't think the other guys are hunting the "right" spots. :)
