Public Land ?

I,being from Tennessee am looking for the some good public land to both bow and Gun hunt. The web sites are confusing as to a good place , or one that is closest to Knoxville Tenn. I know you all hate the Vols, but I'm a hunter,that makes a difference. Besides,you all have nothing to worry about this year:coco: . I don't want your spot, just a good patch of woods with some potential. Who knows, might trade a good Turkey hunt for a good Deer hunt !!!!!!!

If you are looking for public land - you might try the shawnee state forest in scioto county. have a buddy that lived down there - he found a bunch of sheds on the forest and had seen some nice bucks. Lot of thick habitat because of an ice storm several years ago - so bucks have plenty of escape cover. About 5 hours from Knoxville.

EHD is here, but not having a big effect in my area. Just want to try those Big ol' bucks of ohio........thanks
