Food Plot Update

I finally was able to make it down to our property las night at about 5:00. We spread some fertilizer 46-0-0, on the new food plots, and then at about 10:00, we had some good rain. I had 200 + pics on the game cam, but no good bucks, mainly does, fawns, and a few small bucks. I have a great pic of a doe that is almost black, while she is shedding her summer coat. The plots are all doing well, our brassicas are about 10" tall, as are the Forage Oat from Merit seed, and the existing clover plots look like a deep, lush carpet. There are deer in the plots every time we go "up on the hill." This morning I did a little tree stand maintenance on my loc-ons. I will post up some pics when I get a chance later.

Sounds good. I was down to our camp about 3 weeks ago. Food plots were lush and ready to go. I field tested some Whitetail Institute Wintergreens this year and so far I am impressed. We planted on July 24th and on Aug 24they were about 10" deep and you could smell cabbage flavor from 100 yards away. It will be interesting this year.
