Actually, Sunday that is all we heard the whole day. The Gobblers were Loud as the sun was coming up, but after that not a peep. And all we heard were the grouse.

Lance,
Been hearing a lot of grouse drumming in Morgan County and Muskingum County as well this spring. Woodcock's were spotted several mornings along fields near thickets as well.
Also saw several Coyotes and heard one Bob Cat last week!

There is nothing as spooky as slowly edging your way thru the woods on the hunt and then WHAM out flies a grouse and scares the daylights out of you. Those have got to be the hardest birds to hit when they take off and fly away, I'm a good shot but they get me everytime.:D
