Bass Biteing In The Lakes

Does Anybody Know If The Bass Would Be Biteing In The Lakes This Time Of Year And What Kind Of Bait I Should Use.

I went out two weeks ago and caught a 1 pounder and a 2 pounder on a big 10 inch worm t-rigged bouncing it slowly off the bottom in 15 feet of water. the fishing has been slow by me in northeast ohio this moth.
