Sorry bout all the questions guys. We are planting tommorow morning, grass not a issue any more and thanks alot for the advice. Do you guys use Split Seeders or Regular Spreaders. When we were spreading lime a 50 pound bag was gone in two passes on our plot. We only need 7 pounds for 1 acre and I am afraid it will be gone way too quick.( not covering all the plot.) I am attaching pics of our plot and mabe you do not mind helping me out again. Hope I loaded pics correctly

Is there not a Rate adjustment on your spreader? I have both a handheld spreader, and a pull-behind model. Both of which have adjustments on them. The pull-behind even says "X-lbs. per acre" on the adjustment. If you can adjust them, and are unsure of the rate, try this: Add the seed you need to complete the project in the spreader. Adjust it to the lowest setting and see how far you can go. If should allow you to cover the whole plot. If it does, then you have an idication of how far to open up the spreader. I hope the helps. If not, I'm a dumbarse...
