If you would like to enter the “2007 Ohio Sportsman Deer Hunting Contest” please read the following:
-Deadline for entry will be 11:59PM Sunday September 9th, 2007
- NO more people will be added after that date.
-Please thoroughly read all contest rules in the thread titled “2007 Ohio Sportsman Deer Contest, disqualification will be 100% your fault!
-DO NOT post anything in this thread but the following:
Make a post including the following (type out all parts)
Username
Years you’ve been hunting.
Weapon (not season) you are entering the contest with: archery or firearm.
A few final things to remember before you sign up.
1) Only sign up if you are going to be an active and contributing member on your team. If you become someone that never participates with your team in discussions and let them know that you are still around then you will be removed from the contest and replaced with a new member who will participate. You owe it to the contest and your team to be a team player.
2) Make sure that you have read and understand all of the rules and guidelines for this years contest before signing up in this thread.
3) Please remember that when you sign up today to give all of the information that we asked for above. It will be used to create even and fair teams. DO NOT just sign up by saying “I’m in”.
4) Finally remember that you are signing up as a gun or bow hunter! If you choose to be a gun hunter then you can only enter a deer that you shoot with a firearm. If you enter as a bow hunter you can only enter a deer that you shoot with your bow. (To you that sign up with a bow YES you can still enter a deer that you shoot with a bow even if it is shot during a gun season. As long as it was killed by bow you can still enter it.) Also remember that bow hunters can enter 1 buck and one antlerless deer, while gun hunters may only enter 1 deer total.
5) After teams have been determined you will be able to choose your own team name. After this has been accomplished there will be an individual thread for each team to post in. These will all be posted in a Sub Forum which will be made available to us for the duration of the contest.
