hammered one this morning

I went back out to the same farm my dad killed his bird at on the opener. He told me there was still a gang of birds hitting the fields. He was right. At 10:45am I dropped a nice 2 year old gobbler this morning. He weighed 17lbs 9" beard 1" spurs. We've hunted this farm twice this year and each time we have taken birds. Not a bad farm huh?? I'm after the bird at the family farm now. I'll be after him Fri-Sun.

i nailed a 17 lber also today over in gallia county at a friends farm, beard barely got 9 and spur was the same as yours. it was a nice bird and i'm happy. now for a big fish.
