Nice pics, I'm not that great scoring deer but looks like you are in a good place, I like the long tined deer best. Just be glad you don't have to deal with bear pics, I went and checked my camera today and had several bear pics. What kind camera was used on the last pic?

Those are some huge brows! I think I would rather have the buck in the IR pic myself. I would say the first and last pics are 115" to 120". Can't really see the IR pic well enough to be sure. Yeley, do you like your IR's? I notice that it is taking pictures in IR at 8:15pm. Does it need a lot of light to take color pics? Those are some nice bucks. All four have very different characteristics.
Yeley0437

ya they have to have full sun light not to be in infa red, i will stick with a regular flash camera for now on

Jeff, looks like the buck in the 3rd picture is barely an 8 point with crab pinchers on the end? He has a nice frame, but maybe another year for him IMO. I like the buck sporting the tall brows myself. My thing is I like to make sure the bucks are atleast 3 1/2 years old. If they are, and I like their rack, I'm gonna try and take them.

Oh yeah, that buck with the tall brow tines is a stud. He'll be one heck of a sweet 8 pt. I don't know what he'll score(we've all seen that I am rack score blind). I wouldn't pass him up for sure. Nice pics!

Hey yeley how do you like that one looking stump feeder. does it work good. how long does the cron usually last and how much to you put in. i was looking at one but wasent sure how it worked on the deer. you have some great bucks man good lucky on the season.
Yeley0437
09-03-2007, 09:58 AM
It will hold 50#s of corn. Its pretty nice the only problem is the coons. The coons and deer can have it gone in 2 or 3 days :irked:

he was hit on the road i believe on october 28th this year the pic above was the last pic i had gotten of him he travled up north about 3 to 4 miles and was hit on a little country road :( i hunted this deer pretty hard i believe i put to much pressure on him and i never saw him from the treestand so after i saw the pics of him dead on the road i decided to pursue the junk buck a very old deer on nov 4 at about 10:00 i was driving by one of my hunting areas and saw a little six point out feeding in a feild by a creek so i put up my binos to get a closer look and all of the sudden i saw junk beded up just inside the woods i decide to put a stalk on him so i drove back across the bridge and parkewd my truck about 1/4 of a mile away and began ther stalk i went to the south of him about 300 yards and crossed the cold creek with no wader and up to my waist :coco: at about 2:00 i was within 20 yard of him i was down in the creek bed and he was just indide the trees i could only see him by peaking up over the creek edge so mistake #1 instead of waiting a while for him to stand i decide i could close the gap a little more little did i know a doe was less than five yards away two steps later it was over i got busted by a damn doe. 4 days passed to nov 8 my buddy called me and told me he had just seen the junk buck cross the rd in fron't of him into a little 5 acre woods with only one thick spot in woods i was sure he would be beede there so i left work early and began my stalk at 1:00 it was windy and misting just perfect for stalking withing 40 minutes i was close to the little thick but only saw a little 6 point laying up in it so i crawed a few more feet and heard a deer stand up to my left and looked at it was hem less than 15 yds staring at me at this time i didn't even have an arrow knocked :nono: but he was staring dead at me i decide to go for it slowly knocked an arrow and puilled up and shot twack i hit my damn arm and hit him in the neck:nono: he ran outy into a corn feild and started to feed like nothing had happened :yikes: so long story short he stayed out there till dark and i left and retured to search the feild the next morning he was gone so feeling sick to my stomach for a few days i decide to go back out nov 10th and low and behold there he was about 60 yards out in the field chasing a doe around never got close to offer me a shot but hey he had survived my horrible shot and that was great. here is the junk buck
http://www.ohiosportsman.com/photopost/data/502/medium/Picture_or_Video_022.JPG
so next evening nov 11 i went back to wood were browtine had been all summer not knowing what to expect i was kinda sceptical of seeing a nice buck but about 15 minutes after i got into my stand her comes a doe with a huge bodied deer folling her he came within 12 yards of me and the rest was history by the way i never had gotten pic of this deer. 263 lbs

Yeley0437

lucky buck mineral for the mineral site and then usually a salt block on a rotted stump with lucky buck spread over it. But if you don't like lucky buck bowhunter1023 has a homemade recipe.
