whent down to stone creek this morning to scout one last time, this was my 6 th scouting mission and i thought i had those birds pegged but today was a completly diffrent story from friday and weeks past , i saw birds were i never see birds and no birds were i always see birds. well i guess thats hunting , good luck to all.

That's turkeys for you. I've given up on trying to pattern them. Just when I think I've got them figured out, they go and change patterns on me. Now I just hunt the birds willing to gobble at me. I could probably kill more birds playing the waiting game, but it's just not fun to me.

It could be worse, I found a blind 30 yards on a different set of property from where I hunt....not sure what to do about it but I may just hunt there anyways!
