Just new to the forum. Hope to get some info on registering my turkey that I shot this spring. He weighed in at 27# 9.5 inch beard, and 1.5 inch spurs.
Any help would be appreciated. Talked to some people from NWTF, but have yet to hear back from them.
Really getting in to hunting.
Thanks for the help

:mischeif: Just beginners luck. First time ever hunting turkey. A good friend got me started and we went opening day. He could not go the next day, so he gave me a crash course on calling. got in the woods late, fell asleep in the blind, woke up and had 3 Tom's on top of me, picked the biggest and fired. Didn't know that this was a trophy bird tell me friend got here and said we need to get this thing mounted and registered.
But I sure do have the bug now. Went crazy buying guns and calls and anything else you can think of, plus watching videos all day.
Can't wait till fall.

Tracker, still trying to get my stuff from NWTF. When I tried to join they had a problem with credit card, it took them 3 days to figure out that they had the wrong numbers. Emailed Walt Ingram, he was in Georgia and was to get with me when he returned. So I am waiting still for that,

Thanks, trying my hand at Deer hunting before long. Got the feed plot and the camera all set up, but don't think deer hunting will compare to turkey hunting. Hope I'm wrong, but hearing that old tom gobble in the morning sure does the trick.
