For Justin Verlander, it was the second Matchup of the Century in a week, and this time he was ready. Last week against the Minnesota Twins, Verlander was pitted against two-time Cy Young Award winner Johan Santana. The Twins routed the Detroit Tigers' top starter, who gave up six runs in five innings.
