Put you an electric eel on a line and when it swim near the fish give a tug.... really I think they might not be legal.

They aren't hard to build at all. What do you want it for, a private pond or something? Otherwise it would be illegal, as the others mentioned.

What do you mean, or rather what does the ODNR mean, by "your water way"? I'm interpreting that to mean a private water way?? I always thought it would be neat to have one to check some ponds I used to fish. Always thought there were big fish but didn't catch many of them.

I sent you a pm, but after thinking about it that might not work for what you want to do. It would probably only work on small scales. Might give you some ideas, though.

By the way, I wouldn't recommend what this guy did.

If your wanting fish removed from your pond contacted odnr they might help you remove them,or if you ever heard of Hocking College they have a fish program that they might like to give you a hand also,I know they used to due that in fish mang. II class.I know when i went to school there they had one that we study the local rivers and streams with. They might even give you a hand.Would cost you alot less than buying one yourself or trying to build one and zap yourself instead of the fish,But good luck with you project i hope this might help you out
