Well boys it's about that time to head on down to turkey country. I've got the birds located down to a T(or atleast I think:) ) All I need now is for Monday to roll around. I got the gun ready and clothes and calls packed. I'm going to scout a some more this weekend and then hit'em hard Monday. Good luck to all and be safe!! Knock their heads off.

Saturday night and 9 1/2 hours later I'll be 'home' in wonderful SE Ohio. I just hope the birds are more cooperative than the birds down here. Any one going to be posting details about their hunts here during the week? It will be interesting to read how ya'll are doing through opening week. Good luck to all.

Good luck to all! I'll be hunting prolly the whole season(i'm just a starter,lol) so i'll keep ya up to date here in athens county. Yesterday morning they were gobblin really good! Monday can't come soon enough!

I have arrived in Guernsey County after my 10 hour trak from Buford. I had a screw find its way into my tire in South Carolina so I got to change a tire. However when I pulled into town my buddy who lives here showed me a video of one he took this morning from a blind. It had a good 10 or 11 inch beard, this was a huge turkey. And yes we plan on being on him in the am. Good luck, hope every one is out roosting, that is were I am headed.
