I'm jazzed, got out and got a fish this morning. I had to get out with the nice temps, I headed straight for the fast water with the warmer temps around i figured a few would be moving. On the third cast I was drifting pheasant tails on the bottom with no indi, becasue i couldn't see anything. On that third cast i got a hit and another hit. I lifted lightly and the fight was on, after about three minutes some aerial flights and two amazing runs I got him in my hand. A beautiful 5 pound chromie. A beautiful day, afteer 1 fish i threw some new creations and scouted some new water.
Now the bad news, the camera took a picutre of the flash, didn't even get the fish at all. Great day, if thats the only thing i can complain about

Good job Jason. Let me know if that gets more consistant. I have a few days off after xmas for a possible day trip.

With the rain we're getting it looks like it will be Christmas before the waters decent again.

no kidding, i was planning on getting out tomorrow, but not now.
