Last night I bought a 2006 PSE Firestorm Lite Hybrid off my brother in law. I had been saving my money for a newer Hoyt or a Reflex, but I really liked the light/low profile features of this bow. I'm basically getting it bare, but $200 for a bow that he only shot for a couple months seemed too good for me to pass up. I already have a dozen brand new arrows that will fit it perfect, and all my other accessories from my older bow should do the trick. The only things I'll need to buy is a 2 piece quiver and I think I might want some new sights. I'm open for suggestions on sights. I mostly will be using this for hunting. I try to keep shots at a 35 yard max. I will do some 3-D this summer for practice. Price isn't to much of a factor, although I don't wanna drop a couple hundred more just on sights.

Redhunter1012,
There's a J&S Archery there in Finlay, that might be of some help.

Otherwise, I highly recommend The Archery Shop in Minster, Ohio. Bill Ernst is the owner and he'll help you get what you want on your bow and keep it within your budget. :) Take I-75 south to Exit #99 at Anna and go west on S.R. 119 to Minster. The Archery Shop is right across from the church with the huge steeples. You can see the church steeples from miles away, so you can't miss it. It's well worth the trip!

Congards on your bow, I had a PSE and it was a good bow, i think PSE's are all good bows,as for sights, i would recoomend the extreme RT900 i have it and man it is awesome, they sell new for 80 bucks, but you can get them off archery talk's classifieds cheaper than that, if you can find one...

for a sight, I would check out the Extreme R900 sight...it is a nice pick up for the price, around 70 bucks max. Bright optics and a pretty nice set up overall!

He's actually who helped me set up my older bow, so I think I will go back there. Actually, he was the dealer that originally sold the bow to my brother in law. I'll definately check out the RT900 site, seems like a popular one. Thanks guys.

Cool deal Redhunter. Sounds like you got a really nice bow. I am fond of the Trophy Ridge Matrix sight. I don't think they are too bad on price. I have had mine for several years and I love it!

also i have found betts archery to be a lot better and a lot more helpful than J and S archey. Mike will let you take sights out of the box and shoot every single model he has! Just a suggestion.

Thanks Jeff. Betts is by Arcadia isn't it? Whats the price on that site? Right now I have to get a 2 piece quiver that costs around $40, and I'm gonna get a newer string, and maybe a new release, so I'm gonna try to save a few bucks.

well there kinda pricey the "g5 me" is 159.00, there is also a g5 optix that just dosn't have all the bells and wheselles but is still the same sight as the "me" for 109.99. also i have heard nothing but good stuff about that extreme sight. i think it might be 89.99. But mikes is located about 2 miles west of arcadia on county road 236, Basicly you take main street out of findlay north go into mortimer and turn right by the eagles on CR. 236 and go about 4 to 5 miles go trough 2 stop signs and its the 2nd house on the right after the 2nd stop sign.. There will be a sign that says bettes archery.

Well, I got everything set up today. I ended up settling on a 5 pin sight from impact archery. It's a coil site that really lights up well. Stuck with my wisker bisket rest. Bought a 2 piece quiver, and I think I'm gonna get a new Scott release. Also put a new string on, with some SVL chubs, kept my S-Coil stabilizer, and some stick on limbsavers. Spent $160. Now I just want to site in before Sunday so I can hit the local 3-D at the UCOA in Findlay.

Did the 3-d shoot. Scored a 195:yikes: Guess I can only improve from there. The first half of the shoot I really struggled with mechanics. Did a few drive-by's and missed completely. The last half of the shoot I really improved. I'm looking forward to hitting a buch more shoots. The closest one that I know of this upcoming weekend is in Delta, which is over an hour away, so I don't think I'll make that one.
