Went out today with an old friend of mine. I was very dissapointed in what I saw...or should I say didn't see?

First off, the lake is DOWN about 2 feet. Most of my best spots are now just mud flats. Primo spawning grounds high and dry. Looks like I'm gonna have to re-scout some new areas this year.

We did manage to shoot a few, nothing big. It was cold, windy, and overcast today-that didn't help any. We're going back out in a few weeks-after turkey season. I'll post a report then.

Thanks-I was hoping for some more like that this year, but with this LOW water I dunno. Last year fish that size were all over. I'll keep y'all posted.
