Check out www.bumperboy.com. I want one or two because I don't have anyone to throw marks for me. I have to buy some type of dummy launcher. I have heard some good things about them unlike the max 5000 which seems to have problems.

These things are nice. I haven't had anyone to train with and makes it easy. I bought some pheasant pelts that I got off ebay and put scent on them and used zipped strips to attach them to the dokken laucher dummies. The dogs think they are retrieving real birdsWorked on the sit to flush and it works great. Sit to flush in one day. Shot the smaller dummies 50yds, and the mallards about 35 with medium loads. Its worth the money unless you have access to a bird boy of course. I can't believe I waited so long. I made more progress in a week than I have in 2 months. I have a American Cocker spaniel and made his first 50yd water retrieve, being he only weighs 30lbs it was funny watchin him bring in a big mallard dummy. Hes retrieved ducks before but I have my lab always get the long ones.

I've always looked at them but the price along with the thought of swimmming that far for the dummy if my dog wouldn't kind of turned me off.
