Done Some Great Leaf Shootin Out On The Wayne...most Of Muh Shootin Came From Walkin Along The Gravel Road Shootin Into The Road Bank At Leaves...very Good At 20-25 Yds...but Made No Great Shots Or Attempted Any This Time Out,maybe Next Time...lots Of Fun An Turk Scratchins...:d

thats one for the hoot...if i ever git out that way...:mischeif: but aint that sweet,poetry in motion,those fully bent lims of a one pc. recurve...:eek:also note thats a 30" arrah to the tip of the point...an notice lack of finger pinch...from a 52" bow!!!

What can you tell me on the Bear Plack Panther's? I have on in excellent condition, 45#/50#. Will the serial # tonight.

i do believe it was made at the florida plant at gainesville...it would have to be after 1978...maybe the nineties somewhere...i collect mainly grayling mich. bear bows...i believe this is the only fla. bow i have...it seems to be a well made bow...:D

Mine has raised coin, and states Bear Archery, Grayling Michigan on the lower riser. U.S. patent number under that. I might be looking to pass it on, it's just collecting dust, but kinda cool to own something from Fred.

raised coin came in around 72/73...i believe...the stabilizer threaded insert in 71...hmmmm i thought for sure the panther was a florida bow...i'll have to recheck my records...the sixties were the only bows that could be told what yr. they started with a k after 1970...most of my bows are from the 50s/60s and early 70s...:D
