Finally fish started to bite

went fishing at berlin lake from shore last evening before dark, caught 2 large size crappie one perch a blue gill and a 14 inch large mouth bass, all on a crappie jig and maggots..

Saturday morning a friend and I went in his small aluminum boat with trolling motor in the same area of berlin, I caught a white bass, a perch and another Large mouth bass 15 inches all on another crappie jig...

things are lookin up...am going to Mosqueto Sunday with another friend in his bass boat, trying for some walleyes and crappie....

White bass are starting to hit in the Cuyahoga River. Went out for a couple hours yesterday afternoon and had some good action at the Gorge.

I have been fishing everyday if possible, saturday caught one bass fishing with jigs for crappie, sunday crappie fishing with minnows, caught a 23 inch catfish....in berlin lake by route 224-14 area....

sunday evening I went back to the shallower water where Mahoning river enters berlin , dirty water yet warmer, Crappie and white bass were biting fairly good, I used up my monnows and monday and this morning tuesday just threw jigs and caught large mouth bass-white bass and several crappie.....nothing huge, but bigger then they have been.....

Damn I need a boat or canoe to go fish in.....
