Look what I did with a piece of last year's shed. I had an old bayonet with cracked handles. Them bayonets are HARD steel to work with...

I haven't had much luck at finding sheds this year either. I found 4 sheds last year, and a 8 pt skull. But this year i have only found a small 6 pt. skull, but i guess that is better than nothing. I have put alot of time and effort in to shed hunting this year, but no luck! But it did give me a couple of new bow hunting spots for next year though!:D :D Oh well, there's always next year!

I spent a couple hours today in a thick brushy area that is off limits to hunting thinking I was gonna find some monster sheds, all I found were the bleached white skeletons of three does and a forked antler. still have a couple more acres of same thicket to check out.

I had some really good luck this year! I only found two last year! But i picked up 18 this year, but i have not picked any up since early this month. Couple of my buddies just picked up a good 65 inch shed and another picked up a small 40 inch shed. I guess they are still out there just gotta findem' !!! I am gonna try to throw together a pic of all the sheds i picked up this year. when i do i wil post it up.

i havent found any this year but deering the last years shot gun season we hunted a property that hasnt been hunted in 8 years we found 2 doe skulls two 120 class 8 points one was perfect the other had some tree rat damage and i found a 140 or so class 10 point well it would have been a ten point but to tines were missing on each side from tree rats and i found a nice shed in the middle of a field that had no damage what so ever it was kinda odd cause the property was loaded with squirrells between 4 people we took over 80 squirrells of this property last year and one nosey possum

Here's a picture of me with the shed I found where I was hunting with a special permit at Alum Creek picnic area this past season.
It's half of a ten pointer, and it's nice to know that this big buck made it through the hunting season and still might be in the area this year!!
