This is a almost 40 year old Massey Ferguson MF12 that I minted out. It hadn't been run for almost 20 years. The hydro tranny fluid was like grease. It needed a new tranny input shaft seal. The head gasket leaked. It turned out it needed to be ground flat and then one of the bolts holding it down needed to be cut a bit so it could be torqed down properly. I added the light kit (yes you can still buy parts for these machines, some of them new).

Runs good now and you gotta love that 38" wide shaft drive tiller. Should do the job handily on the sandy soil that I have.

I just love any old machinery or anything old for that matter, most people who see my things say I have a collection of old junk. But to me it's treasures from the past, cool deal Steve.

My favorite part about it is the "Made in USA" stamped on the frame.
