Three of us fished the causeway last night for crappies, picked up 24 in the 10-12" range. Also got 2 perch 10". Fished the south side, west end from 8pm to 11pm. Not really good yet but it is getting better. Talked to some guys wading who got a few walleyes north of the causeway on the west end. Seems like the walleye fisherman activity is increasing. Too bad the weather is going to crap on us, things are getting good. Good Luck

brian,
to post pics, upload them from your computer to ohiosportsman.com (limited storage space) or try photobucket.com. It's free web space to store digital images.
to insert image in post, copy the image code or the url, click on the insert image icon and paste. it's that simple.

Thanks Brian,,, We were also at Mosquito 4/3/07 looking for crappies, but on the South end, in the coves. Most of the boats were having a poor time marking fish. I think they, the fish, were glued to the bottom. We ended up with 14 keepers, only 2 went 11". Could not believe that the water temp was 52* in the shallows,,, notice I said WAS,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,! :irked:
GOOD TIMES A-COMMIN' !!

Me and my boy were fishing on Mosquito on 4-3-07 on the north end trolling shad raps. My boy caught 2 nice walleys I didn't get a hit.
