i mighta been there when you caught it...i havent been there since the new owners took over the place...sure is some big ones in there...goldfish works good...and there is sauger, walleye and saugeye in the river...especially at whites mill...also crappie, smallmouth, largemouth, chain pickeral, gar ,carp, northern, trout, musky, freshwater drum, channel cat, shovelhead, white bass, kentucky bass, bluegill, rockbass, suckers, chubs, turtle, mudpup pies...i'm sure i forgot something but anythang that is in the ohio river or dow lake is in the river at the mill or below it to the ohio river...the falls prevents fish from getting to the river above them but i'm sure there is most up there too...i know smallmouth is in the entire length...good luck...:mischeif:

No one will be fishing the mill for quite a while. I drove past it on my way to lunch today, and WOW is the water ever high and fast! This rain is just swelling the Hocking right up. The ground is all wet, and this rain is not soaking in at all. :yikes:
