The expo is in about a month and I'm really excited.:D Anybody else excited as I am? Well I have only been going to this thing for only a couple years and I'm still finding new things out about it. Do you guys and gals recommend me going to a certain place? And what is the most exciting thing there? :D :D

I like the beer stand...But you are gonna have to wait a few years for that :mischeif:. I am definately excited about going. Half my family goes to the show, while the other half goes to the Beef Expo. I will be at both this year so it will be a long day. Hopefully we get a little meet and greet action going on

So I was just looking at this, and I think I am defintiely gonna try to talk the ol' lady into going down there instead. It will all depend on how the weekend turns out. Thats like a 3-hr drive.

Major dilemma here fellas…Saturday is St. Patty’s day and my favorite bar has green beer specials all day! I’m torn. I love St. Patty’s day, and this year I can actually go out and not have to work the next day. But I love the Expo. Sunday is for recovery, so that’s out. I might take the day off Friday, but that is a 2 hours drive for a few hours of fun. Maybe a hotel and St. Patty’s day in C-bus is in order…Maybe Jimmy will loan me his camper if I bring Natty and crackers

I'm going to be in Florida fishing this year... 1st time I will have missed it in years... It's during my Son's Spring break from school & the wife worked out a deal for us to stay with her dad for free down on the Gulf just above Sanibel Island. I'm starting to get the gear together for a fun trip!

Bigfoot, where you staying, Captiva? My future mother-in-law has a condo in Cape Coral and I have stayed at Captiva before.

Anyways, I don't think i am going to make it the more i think of it. I have a huge fundraiser auction for our alternative Spring break trip on the 17th, and it's like a 3-hr drive to c-bus. If I could go down and spend Sat. and Sunday, I would, I would make a weekend out of it, but I just don't think it will happen this year. I will be going to Ceveland's show instead. have fun yall, maybe next year.

I like going on Sunday to the expo, especially if I plan on buying something. I learned several years ago how these guys feel after a solid weekend of drinking and being away from family, they just want to get it over with and the less work on Sunday the better. What I mean is the less they have to pack up the better they will let stuff go at half price. About 6-7 years ago I was in the market for a treestand, I went on the final day and pretty much knew what I wanted. They had the stand marked at 229.00+ tax. After a small conversation with the salesman he said 160.00 cash and you can have it.... he even threw in 20.00 back pack straps... the 160.00 was tax, title and out the door. So if there is any day to go I always go on Sunday for the deals. Have fun there Guys!

thats cause they gouged the prices the first 2 days...its the american way...yes i usually go on sundays too because of this reason...as i sed on here before...a guy made me a real good show deal one year...and i found it at gander mountain later that night a few dollars cheaper...thats what you get buyin on saturday...:D

I am just going to look :16suspect1:  :mischeif: . Wife is coming with me...lol..she likes crowds and she likes to drive. I already got some pretty wood arrows coming soon she don't know about yet :yikes: so I'm happy to just look.

Seriously, a good place to see lots of outdoor products under one roof and have a good time...meet and talk to people :).

I'll have my Ohiosportsman hat on :D .

I'll bet you one that I visit your booth to "look" at one :) .

I like the whole concept and your approach...fits right in with a "trad" approach to hunting, a good tactic in lots of situations. I'm looking at it as another "tool in the box". Can't wait to see your product ;). See you there!

Making smoke with wood is not traditional? Hmmm. I always thought it was :mischeif:
