Very similar deer...different though. prolly distant cousins..id hold off on that one in ross county...give em a couple years and he might be some kind of record.

Long post referenced here, but VERY entertaining with lots of lies, deceit and comedy.Corey – those are not the same deer (forked G2), however, I can’t vouch for the exact location of the camtracker photo’s I posted because they aren’t mine.

As secretary of the BBBC, I get hundreds of email photo’s of live and dead deer from various club members and wanna be club members asking my opinion about what a deer might score. These were sent to me by a club member from Ross County.

The gentleman thinks he may be on to a potential state record typical. If he’s on the up and up, I’d have to agree with him.

Heck of a buck BUT it looks like he may have common base issues that could wreck the net score. The buck looks at his prime and another year may develop more scoring issues.

Ross Co produces some monsters every year.:)

I thought the same thing about the common base points but you never really know until you look straight down and feel for the "figure 8".

Regarding future scoring issues, you're probably right but I can think of a few bucks around here that got better instead of worse in their old age. Certainly the potential is there for a 200"+ typical frame even with a few "stickers".

It would be nice to see more advertisements for Ross, Adams & Greene counties. I wish more people would flock to those counties. As it is now there are too many guys hunting in the counties that I hunt in. lol

That's a good one. There's too many hunters who hunt Drakes for a deer to live over 2 years. I use to hunt it all the time. Very nice man, but he lets everyone and their brother hunt. During deer season it's as bad as state land, if not worse. Turkey season, forget it!:yikes: Plus add in the out of state hunters and that property is nothing short of a safety concern.

Hey, that bucks IDENTICAL twin was photographed in the same exact location at the same exact time on Ft. Custer near Battle Creek Michigan 5 years ago. At least that's where I was told the pics came from.
A buck like that is very distinctive and one you don't soon forget...at least I haven't forgotten.:)

Not to re-open a dead thread, but i recently saw this picture and then noticed it on here. The person who showed it to me said that he knows the kid (he is 15 right now) that owns the trail camera thats took the picture a few years ago, here in MEDINA county. He also has a tattoo of this buck. Im very interested in anything else i can learn about this story.
