Black bear hunting

Does anyone have a preference on oufitters for bear hunting? I've never done it but plan on doing it within couple years. Any preference on spring or fall. I definitly will be using a bow. The misses says postponed honeymoon first but she's not interested in combining with hunt--dang!

I went to Iron Bridge Ontario to a place called Clear Lake Camp, back in Aug. It was $1000 Canadian, and included the guide, and your cabin. We had to drive to our bait stations, and supply our own food. All in all it was a good time, they had a bad year, and only 1 of the three of us got bear. One other guy shot several tims he just couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. E mail me at dspring@wcoil.com for any questions.
