i was working around the pond where i work and this goose attacks me when my back was turned...it pounded me first with a right wing and then a left wing...i didn't think the mulling would ever stop and it was scratching my back with its webbed feet...i don't think it bit me any butt i took a beating from those wings on the head and shouders...i did manage a good right to its jaw and it retreated butt continued to stare me down...

Geese are very territorial, I know a man who has one as a watch goose and you can't get close to his house without a confrontation. It's pretty effective on strangers coming onto the property. A watch goose, a new trend in home security...:D :D :D

Since it tried to bite you it was probley a goose (female), a gander (male) would be a friend. Isn't that just like a woman to bite the hand that feeds her.:D :D :D :D :D ;)
