I look at it this way only idiots don't ask questions. If you know what I mean. Thanks for the question. I don't know if you are familiar with handpours at all. Then the custom looks even more confusing. But I will start from the beginning.
Handpoured worms are actually melted plastisol. In the process of melting the plastisol, Ingredients, such as scents, salt, colors, hardners and softners are added in. When the plastisol is melted to a pourable state, then it is poured into a mold of choice each one by hand. The advantage of handpoured worms, (Which ALL pros use most of the time), (That is the BIG secret) is that the pourer can make his batter as flexable or as tough as the person desires, with special scents, shades of colors, sizes, off the wall baits. I make mine soft with flexability , for getting the point of the hook through the bait alot faster, also, while keeping the bait durable for multiple uses. That my friend is my secret, Along with the scent.I say ALL pros use these baits is just for that reason of finding a pourer for what the pro or anyone is exactly looking for. There is no margin for error. That is what happened to me at a trade show. I made a special worm, The slick stick that this young pro/journalist was looking for. I also, took the shape of a famous bait that is similar to the senko (LAZY STICK). But, mine floats with a slower fall rate to put the bait in the strike zone alot longer also, the tail is up off the bottom and does lie not flat on the bottom. Read the web page that explains more. Custom is a word that explains what I said above with the exception of I will try to make custom colors and if the market is there I will make custom baits such reapers, grim reapers, 6 inch SLICK STICKS and 5 inch LAZY STICKS. Thanks for the interest . Hopefull that helps.

Sorry I didnt see the reply back to me :) Thanks a lot for the post that informed me a lot. So on the flexible hand poured are they like the ciberflex? If so on yours do you have to keep them seperate from other plastics? I know with the ones that my work carries you have to keep them away from regular plastics or they will turn to mush. I havent tried it yet to see if it's true I know thats what they told us in a meeting though.

Will those worms melt plastic boxes?

z fish, The handpours are the same plastic Yamamoto, berkley and other brand name manufacturers use. What I meant by flexability, is the softness in the texture of the worm that the ends or the tail has movement and action, that can be regulated by blending softer plastisol with harder plastisol. It is important to keep the bait as soft as can be for faster hook penetration through the bait and action, as well as durability where you can use the worm again.

Seperation of other worms- there is a special worm oil that is purchased and used to seperate the worms from sticking together. Very little is needed. for instance I have made over 2000 senko type(Lazy Stick), reapers, grim reapers, 4 inchdrop shot or finnesse worm (Slick stick)(Used widely on the tour). And I have used only 2 ounces of a 4 ounce bottle. I make the worms and then I trim the excess plastic, then I put the inspected finished product into a large zip lock and add the worm oil and salt, them shake and mix. Also, the packaging helps. I use the same 3mil anti ultraviolet plastic zip lock bag that Berkley uses. So far I have had no problem with the plastics bleeding through. The baits don't stick together either.

I tell you what, Give me your address and I will send you a couple of complimentary worms on me. I will send you one of the favorites PUKEY GREEN- Schoolbus yellow with green fleck AWSOME especially the 4 inch slick stick finnesse worm.

I have updated my web site a little with my home phone. and the difference between my senko type and yamomoto's. Mine float his sinks. I definatly like different, works for me!! Just go to my web site and go to the bottom of the page where it says email. press the button and give me your address. or just email me at bearpaw72@aol.com. I hope that gave you some answers.

Desperado, No the handpoured plastics do not eat the plastic boxes. I coat each worm with special worm oil and salt. that seperates each worm from sticking together.

No I havent gotten them yet. I dont remmber if I had sent you my address of not but Ill be more than happy to give it to you. I was just curious about the plastic itself. I still havent put my cyberflex stuff with other plastics to see if it would turn into mush. Im just repeating what the rep told me :) It was just that one brand that I know of. Strike king make some with cyberflex in it but I havent heard anything about that. I have fished with Senkos and the Yamomoto baits and I do like those quite a bit.. You just may have a new customer on your hands and Ill be more than happy to refer customers to you from work. I Would gladly any day support a small place than a huge company ;)

On the handpoured worms. I gave Lunker a couple of the baits, and he just recieved them today. Sounds like he likes the looks. I will be more than happy to send ypou some also. Just email me your address and I will get them right out. The senko worm that I handpour has salt in the mixture, but with the blend of plastics I use, my worms float. Which is nice when the worm is sitting on the bottom. Plus they are $2.50 less than the yamamoto baits. Ill stop there, I could go on and on.

george, no I haven't put into any stores yet. I have my feelers out there from ohio to Florida. But, If you know someone that has a bait store. I have a deal that they can't refuse. If they buy at least 20 bags or 250 loose baits, the total has to be at least $75.00. I will buy back what they don't sell at the end of 1 year, that's the confidence I have in these baits . Also, George if you want a couple of samples give me your address on my email and I will get the samples right on out to you. Ask Lunker, he had the baits within 3-4 days. I have a web site and you can order from also. I am in the process of making a better web site and easier to pay . That should be out within a week or so. But, for now this is it

Lunker, how did you ever make out with those handpours/ around our parts We have been rockin and rollin especially with the new colors I just made up. If anyone wants some to try just email me your address an I will get them to you. My buddy caught 8 fish combo bass and pickeral on just 1 bait. Try that with yamamoto. While I caught 6 fish on 6 different colors out of 9 colors I tried. i could have caught more, But I was trying different colors and baits, That was after a 7 degree temp loss on the water temp due to a cold front that was the night before.

z, Just send me your mailing address on my email bearpaw72@aol.com. If you did already I apologize.Somehow I had not recieved it. I will get those worms right out to you. These baits have been rockin out here in NY. From Crappie to pickeral. Bass season is not open yet but for the 2 times I have been out with my baits I have got 24 fish 3 crappie and the rest pickeral from 18 to 25 inches and the bass from the shorts to 4.5 lbs. The uglier the color the better they like it.
I am working on a brand new web site. The site will be easier to order from with credit card, money order, bank account, etc however you want to pay.
I always with each order send some extra bait for anyone to try. My main goal is for you guys to catch fish. Anyway my web site should be up by may 8th or 9th. Here is a sneek peek for you guys to look at. Or even order if you want.

Lunker, I hear ya about those long hours.
I have made some new colors that have been outrageous. Look at my post just above this one to zfish and you will see some of my results. Pickeral season is open out here so I have been experimenting with the new stuff and man! Also, the conventional stuff has been awsome too. Such as the Black/ blue fleck, pukey green and the natural with black/gold flek. I don't know which ones I sent you, I forgot. I really havn't had good luck with the browns that much, except for the natural. But I think that will be better as the year progresses when my home lake gets a little cloudier in the summer months. Greens and as always blacks with all colored flakes, black with the chartreuce tip, Bubblegum, white/ watermelon,. yellows and the clears all have been superb. These baits are natural floaters. I want you guys to put the bait on the bottom of the lake where you can see, and look how the tail end raises off the bottom.., Where Yamamoto lies flat. Give the bait some patients when you fell nibbles. What that is that the fish is picking up the tail. It took me a long while to figure out why 80% of the time I was getting some kind of hit whether a strong instant hit or the most subtle of hits. When I gave alot more time to the nibbles I hooked them solid. I really do mean 70 to 80 % of the time I got some sort of strike. My buddy went out the other day and he landed 12 fish on the same bait and 5 of those were pickeral. He is the largest bait critic I ever saw and he came back and I had to run away from him I thought he was going to kiss me. He called me twice from the lake to tell me how good he was doing.
As you know I am working on a new web site and It should be up by May 8th or 9th

www.bearpawshandpouredbaits.com

try it out and let me know where it needs work if any. I am going to have a tip and photo page eventually.
Have faith in those plastics. I know they will do you good.
