Wow those buffaloes were just like a forage fish and bow fishing (in todays world) back in the mid to late 1800's wasn't they. I mean no limits on them and eventually almost slaughtered them to extinction. If I read history right we used to have buffalo numbering in the millions, it just goes to show you what can happen when limits are not set on any fish or wildlife specie. Makes you wonder if we are doing something wrong or not doesn't it. :confused: But I would like to hunt one though....

As to the price to hunt Buffalo with Ted Nugent is $4,000.00. I had to check it out when I was on his web sight. It said you get to hunt with Ted him self , you get to keep all the meat hide and the head. I guess that in some of the places you only get half the meat and head. At least that is the way it was stated. Still would like to hunt one though. A man has to have a dream!!!

I ordered it at Tumbleweed and it's great! They have a type of steak at Montana Mining Company.

One of my young Marines is from PA. His father buys buffalo for people to shoot (notice I said shoot not hunt). He said he recently started this to make up for hard times on his farm. I can't blame his dad for trying to keep his family fed, but it ain't hunting in my book.

I've never really had a strong desire to hunt buffalo or bear, but if someone came up and invited me and I could afford it then I'd go in a second.

hey i could hunt buffalo about a mile down the road but i dont think that the farmer would really care for me doing that and it might be rather costly

archer077: give that farmer $4000 like Ted Turner gets & he would probably hunt with you just like Ted.:D Just think of the money you could save by not going out there.:D You could maybe git the rest of us permission to hunt @ $4000 a pop.:eek:
Maybe you should see if he'll take $1000 first. ;)
