As soon as bow prices started to rival rifle prices, I lost interest. :coco:
Bows are NOT knows for holding their resale value. :cheeky-smiley-022: When a person can pay $500+ for a bow and 1 year later it might be worth half of the original price is nothing short of insane. :dizzy:
I suppose, if you have the money and that's what you want to do with it, go for it. :)
Good hunting, Bowhunter57

thank you, thats what i was waitin for...it makes me wonder too...an after so many years these compounds go for 30$ at auctions...guns,well they are purty high still at auctions...now recurve bows is another story...any lower line bear bow will bring on average at least 100$...a bear kodiak made in any year ,in decent shape at least 500$...to over 1000$...for a vintage bow...also the custom recurves an longbows hold their value very well...:D

Well most bow dealers don't want to sell used compounds and x-bows because of the liability involved if their is some kind of internal defect in the limbs or axles - on new bows they got the manufactures guarentee - yah can get a fair used price on the better cp/x-bow stuff if ya sell in private and are willing to wait - there is always the person who wants a top of the line but can't afford it and they will buy an older top of the line model :D  :16suspect1:
