I killed this jake yesterday evening. I was hunting a food plot on one of our local WMA's.

I heard three different tom's gobbling all afternoon, but none of them would come in.

Around 4:30 pm five hens and this jake came into the food plot. After an hour they finally fed their way to my set up. I shot the jake from 17 yards away and he dropped right there on the spot. I was using a 90 grain Rocket Slammerhead expandable broad head and it really did the job..:)

He may only be a jake, but since he's my first bow killed turkey he's a Pope and Young class jake to me...:D

Congrats there thunderflight,I hope i get my first turkey this year,I want care if its a jake or gobbler it want matter

hey are them military boots...boy you are a killer,you need to change your handle to uh,hmmmm...mr. slot ter...congrats on your 1st bow killed turkey

To post a picture,

1) go to the gallery and find your picture
2)right click -> properties
3)copy and paste the address
4)go to the post
5)click the IMG above the box you type in, and then paste the address

That should do it for you, here's your bird! Congratulations!

No those ain't military boots.... We've got to many poisonous snakes for me to take a chance....:eek:

I don't go into the woods with out them snake boots...:D
